There are booster packs inside the tin which are fun and we got sent a bunch of them in addition to everything else. They are always a joy to open with suspense at every chance. Ultra Necrozma-GX would be the prize when tearing through every booster. It has unbelievable moves and abilities with huge HP. You could find legends and mythical Pokémon such as Volcanion and Diancie or encounter Ultra Beasts such as Naganadel and Xurkitree. Of course, you may end up with seventy Flabébé cards which may or may not come in handy during battles. All in all, the Forbidden Light series stacks up with high offense, quick strikes and major attacks. Find them in stores now so you can embrace the darkness and unleash powerful victories.

The cards for Victini and Keldeo depict them in beautiful scenery with a fully designed background. Victini comes as a Fire-type with 70 HP, which is pretty average. Energy Assist can be pretty good at building up a sweeper in your bench since you are allowed to attach energy cards to them after flipping a coin and landing on heads. Victory Ball is Victini’s only attack. It deals 50 damage which is very useful but you must discard one energy afterwards. Be sure to stack your deck with enough Fire-type energy cards to keep Victini in the battle. Keldeo is a Water-type and has 90 HP. Its ability, Justified, allows it to inflict 50 more damage to Dark-type enemies and its Sacred Sword attack deals a staggering 100 damage. Keldeo has the potential to take down a large number of opponents because potential doubled amount against those weak to Water and then 150 damage against Dark-types. The only catch is Keldeo won’t be able to attack next turn. Keep plenty of backup Pokémon around and various Trainer cards in-hand to make-up for that gap.

Starting off, Bright Tide features the shining star of the sea, Primarina. It contains a shocking mixture of Water and Electric-type Pokémon as well as a few Normal-types. Primarina is the main draw of this deck and with Disarming Voice doing 30 damage plus confusion as well as its signature attack, Sparkling Aria inflicting 100 damage while healing itself, this Pokémon is going to be tough to take down. Primarina is good to use if stalling is necessary as its self-healing will give you time to power up other Pokémon. It has 150HP which is pretty fair and a weakness to Grass-type cards which is good news for anyone using the Forest Shadow set. Also, those looking to experience Alolan region Pokémon, there are only four which means the majority of your team will consist of older Pokémon.

Both packages come with a collectible pin of the featured Pokémon, a special card for them, and two booster packs. Just a piece of advice, be sure to inspect them as closely as possible. Our Victini pin had just a bit of gold lining covered on its head from the injected enamel, it’s not going to be detrimental to a fan but it would be to a collector. In stores, check through every box possible before making your selection. The pins are definitely worth it for huge fans of these cuties. They are highly detailed and look great on display. Some fans pick these boxes up just for the pins alone. It really shows off how truly committed they are to their Pokémon partners.
Now, we come to the Roaring Heat deck introducing the crushing power of Incineroar. There are Fire, Normal and Fighting-types included with this bundle. Incineroar has Fire Fang which will induce a burn on the opposing Pokémon as well as 30 damage. It also uses its signature attack, Darkest Lariat, which you must flip two coins and deal 100 damage, for every heads. This move has the potential to unleash 200 damage, double that for anything weak to Fire-types and it can take down basically anything. Incineroar’s 160 HP makes for a great advantage in order to build up its attacks and keep flipping for heads.
